Sanlu...You Greedy-Ass Fools

I've been thinking non-stop about the whole Sanlu milk powder contamination issue all day. It's not that Shayla seems sick or anything right now, it's just that she was on that formula for about 11 1/2 months before she was weaned on to American formula...finally at 13 months she went to whole milk (on her 2nd birthday we change to any kind of milk, per instructions from her pediatrician). Who knows the long lasting effects of consuming melamine (which is used to make fertilizer...yes, "fertilizer" and plastics)? We did have to take her to the hospital earlier this year...then after about 3 hours of waiting there in the emergency room/triage area for some incompetent baffoon to examine her, he just said it was more than likely colon spasms (after he said she was "gassy")...but, was it really? Now this has me questioning it and wondering. I know she was in pain, but she was way too little to tell us where she hurt or how it felt...we just saw her stiffening up and pulling her legs up to her closely over and over.

Those Sanlu executives will pay for what they've done (fattening their big pockets) to all those innocent babies, to the elderly Chinese people that needed that milk and the zoo animals that are now suffering from kidney issues now too...
