Changes...too fast

There have been some "unusual" changes with my baby girl this past week. All the sudden she started calling Mark "Daddy" instead of "Dada". That really caught me off guard...she has always called him Dada. Two days before that she actually started saying "pink" instead of "mink". She says "thank you" all the time now and occasionally throws out "you're welcome". She's talking in many more sentences and can tell you a whole story...and most of it is totally understood now. Last week when I was sitting in the bathroom with her after her bath, she was playing in the tub and singing "row, row, row your boat...". I had no idea she even knew that song! So, we sang it together a few times until she said "no momma" (guess she got tired of my singing). She's like a sponge...she's picking up so many things now. She knows her colors and can count a little (sometimes we'll count in Spanish too). Many times, I'll sing the ABC song and she'll say the next letter! She is slowly being transitioned to the older side of her daycare so I guess she's picking up these things there. She's just blown my mind with what all she has learned!

Don't kids grow up so fast. My youngest niece Ali will be 3 in January and is growing up way to fast.

I know exactly what you mean......Brodie doesn't call me Mommy in front of his friends anymore...it's Mom.....eeeeek! He and Drew amaze me daily. I guess we just have to try to take it all in and enjoy every minute of each age.
