I found this on YouTube and it made me feel sad and happy all at once. Below is the history of it from the person who posted it.


This piece was written for 2 pianos. I couldn't understand why.
The composer of this beautiful piece explained that to me.

He wrote this piece for his first daughter, who was born prematurely, and died a month after.
He wrote this piece when a snowstorm prevented him and his wife from going to the hospital to see their daughter.
Some time after that they adopted an Asian girl, whom they love very much. So this tune now is kind of a dialogue between 2
pianos, kind of like the dialogue between the two babies.

I have never heard a more amazing and beautiful story behind any other piece.
