I can't imagine getting up and literally fighting the crowds to shop at 5:00 am. No freaking way! There is nothing...and never has been anything, that I wanted that badly that made it worth it. I woke up early this morning and heard cars driving down the street bright and early...I just wanted to curl up in my warm, toasty bed and sleep for a couple more hours. So that is exactly what I did.
We did get some things accomplished today...we went to our second bank to have them re-do the letter for our updated adoption paperwork. That took about 10 minutes.
Also, I hadn't mentioned this, but the carpet measuring people came Tuesday. Then we went to Home Depot on Wednesday to pay for the carpet and installation. We bought the upgraded carpet pad, which is supposedly on backorder, so it will be a few weeks before they can install it. Not a problem...we're in no rush anyway. We also scheduled a person to come measure so we can have a storm door installed. This house never had that and I've really wanted one for so long. Some houses in this neighborhood already have them, but some don't. All the houses are made so much alike and they are all close together. At night, it can be deceiving and you can even accidently pull into a neighbors driveway thinking it's yours...Mark recently did that...we were cracking up over that one! I couldn't imagine why we were "visiting" neighbors at such a late hour! Yes...I married a goober! Guess it takes one to know one! Here's our house...yep...Mark finally found his way home! Hee hee...
